You aren’t meant to do this alone.
Humans aren’t designed to move through life’s challenges in isolation.
Whether you are facing challenges with anxiety, postpartum, or relationships, you weren’t meant to go through this alone. Healing happens in connection between people.
Getting out of your comfort zone.
I work best with clients who are ready to stretch themselves to the edge of their comfort zone. They are tired of waiting for their environment to change to be happy.
My clients are interested in strengthening their mind-body connection and are motivated to try something new in the pursuit of lasting change.
Therapy brings self-awareness.
It’s a vulnerable and courageous act to reach out for help.
It won’t always be easy as we poke the tender places in your human experience. But it can also be fun and exciting.
You get to understand your role, know yourself more intimately, and feel calm and clear about what’s next.
Create change from the inside out.
Therapy is a healing process. Healing is growth, and growth is change.
When you change, your relationships can’t help but change, too. You’ll develop more meaningful connections and let go of painful patterns that held you back.
If you are ready for change, I am prepared to help.

My Story
When I was young, I didn’t know that other people didn’t experience racing thoughts or feel a paralyzing pressure to get things just right. “Good enough” was a foreign concept. With the help of therapy, I managed well for many years. I became a high functioning anxious person.
Then I became a mom. Like many moms, I became preoccupied with protecting my children from pain I had experienced. Excessive worry kept me from being the mom I wanted to be, so I turned to the familiar resource of therapy for support.
That’s when I experienced body-oriented therapy and started developing a more trusting relationship with myself. I didn’t just learn skills to manage anxiety; I learned to identify and let go of the fears that were at the root.
I developed clarity about my choices (in parenthood and beyond) and showed up more authentically in my life. In turn, my relationships became more fulfilling, too.
My journey through anxiety, motherhood, and transformative therapy led me to become a therapist. Personal growth and the positive changes I witness in others keep me inspired to help others feel more confident and connected.
My approach is specific to you.
Your unique circumstances, experiences and goals will determine where we start and how we work together. My work is informed by Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also use EMDR to help my clients heal from trauma.

Practicing mindfulness outdoors and spending time with my husband and two kids keeps me grounded and allows me to bring my best self to work.
